For the most part, the number of teams we accept is limited to those we can accommodate on the two rinks at LVIC. If a specific event requires games to be scheduled at another arena, teams will be informed at the earliest possible time.
Completion times vary with each tournament. The goal with each schedule is to have the last championship game completed by 4:30pm.

Each tournament is different based on the applications we receive. Our most common division sizes have five, six or eight teams.
Game play formats vary depending on the number of teams in a division. Most formats will have teams play 3 or 4 games followed by seeding for either consolation, quarters, semis or championship games.
Teams are notified of their status once their registration and official roster have been reviewed. The process generally takes 1 – 5 days.
No. Scoresheets are created once we upload team rosters in our electronic scoring system.
Yes. Team managers should plan to check in 45 minutes prior to the start of their first game. This gives us a chance to go over your roster and cover other details about the tournament.

All players including goalkeepers, in the 12 & under (Youth and Girls’) through Youth 18 & under (including High School) and Girls’ 19 & under age classifications are required to wear a colored (non-clear) internal mouthpiece that covers all the remaining teeth of one jaw, customarily the upper.

Yes, for coaches and managers only. We welcome you to stop by anytime for a beverage and snack. The hospitality room is in the North rink (southeast corner) and is open daily throughout the tournament.
Yes. Source for Hockey is fully stocked with skates, sticks, protective gear, apparel and accessories. Skate sharpening is available along with a variety of hardware for skate repairs. The shop opens each morning before the first tournament game and closes each evening at the start of the last game.

If the cancellation occurs prior to the team being accepted into the tournament, your deposit/registration fee will be refunded promptly. Cancellations occurring after tournament acceptance are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
No. The hotel room blocks are put in place about a year in advance so that all teams participating in LVIC tournaments can enjoy discounted rates. We choose not to inflate room block rates to cover the cost of giving a complimentary room to anyone.
Yes, a snack bar is in the main lobby and offers a variety of hot and cold drinks and snacks. Brooksy’s Bar and Grill overlooks the north rink at LVIC and offers sit down dining with breakfast and dinner menus. Pizza is the specialty of the house.
